Assist Step Front Finish Cap Replacement (B3L)

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  1. Retainer (2) » Disengage [2x]
  2. Assist Step Wire (1) » Reposition away
  3. Assist Step Finish Cap Bolt (3) » Remove

  1. Disengage the retaining tabs (2), from the slots (1) in the assist step.

  2. Assist Step Front Finish Cap (3) » Remove Installation Procedure

  3. Engage the retaining tabs (2), to the slots (1) in the assist step.

  4. Assist Step Front Finish Cap (3) » Install

  1. Assist Step Finish Cap Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
  2. Retainer (2) » Engage [2x]
  3. Lower the vehicle.
