Liftgate Weatherstrip Replacement — figure 1

1. Start at the upper corner of the liftgate opening and pull the liftgate weatherstrip (1) away from the liftgate opening flange. Installation Procedure

2. Clean the area where the liftgate weatherstrip (1)  will be mounted. Use a suitable solvent with a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water by volume, or high-flash naphtha.

3. Position the liftgate weatherstrip (1)  working downward along the edge, install the liftgate weatherstrip on the liftgate opening flange.

4. Ensure that the liftgate weatherstrip (1) is seated on the entire liftgate opening flange.
