Rear Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation (Bucket) Removal Procedure

  1. Reposition the seat as necessary.
  2. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the two rear seat anchor plate bezel plastic retainers.

  1. Place the rear seat armrest (2) in the full upright position.
  2. Unzip the rear seat armrest cover and reposition as necessary to access the rear seat armrest bolt (1).
  3. Rear Seat Armrest Bolt (1) » Remove
  4. Rear Seat Armrest (2) » Remove

  1. Unzip the left and right rear seat back cover zippers.
  2. Reposition the rear seat back cover, pad, J-channel retainers, and retainers as necessary.
  3. Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, open the rear seat head restraint cable cover (1).
  4. Release the rear seat head restraint cable (2).

  1. Raise the rear seat head restraint (3) to gain access to the rear seat head restraint guide bezels (1).
  2. Twist the rear seat head restraint guide bezels (1) counter clockwise while lifting the bezels upward onto the head restraint adjuster rod.
  3. Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push the rear seat head restraint guide clip (2)  rearward while pulling upward on the rear seat head restraint (3).

  1. Remove the rear seat back cover and pad (1) as an assembly. Installation Procedure

  2. Install the rear seat back cover and pad (1) as an assembly.

  3. Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Bezel (1) » Install [2x]

  4. Rear Seat Head Restraint (3) » Install

  1. Install the rear seat head restraint cable (2).

  2. Close the rear seat head restraint cable cover (1).

  3. Position the rear seat back cover, pad, J-channel retainers, and retainers to the original location.

  4. Zip the left and right rear seat back cover zippers.

  5. Rear Seat Armrest (2) » Install

  1. Rear Seat Armrest Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  2. Position and re-zip the rear seat armrest cover.

  3. Rear Seat Anchor Plate Bezel (1) » Install

  4. Return the seat to its original position.
