Removal Procedure

  1. Front Seat Back Cover and Pad (1) » Remove — Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation

  1. Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Front Seat Cushion Cover Retainer (2) » Remove

  1. Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

  2. Front Seat Bolt (1) » Remove [4x]

  3. Front Seat Back Frame (2) » Remove

  4. Transfer components as necessary. Installation Procedure

  5. Front Seat Back Frame (2) » Install

  6. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps: 2.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth. 2.2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 2.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 2.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.

  1. Front Seat Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Connect and position the wiring harness.

  3. Front Seat Cushion Cover Retainer (2) » Install

  4. Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  5. Front Seat Back Cover and Pad (1) » Install — Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation
