DTC Descriptor DTC B2AFB Windshield Interior Service Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Voltage DTC B2AFC Windshield Interior Service Temperature Sensor Circuit High Voltage DTC B2AFE Windshield Interior Service Temperature Sensor Performance For symptom byte information, refer to Symptom Byte List. Circuit/System Description The windshield temperature sensor is part of a the B117 Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor that provides the BCM information about the passenger compartment side windshield temperature. A fused B+ circuit and ground is provided by the wiring harness. The sensor sends a LIN serial data message to the BCM. Conditions for Running the DTC System voltage = 9 – 16 V BCM is awake and communicating Conditions for Setting the DTC The body control module receives an improper status response indicating an internal fault in the sensor.
