DTC Descriptor DTC B1B3C Short Range Radar Sensor - Right Rear For symptom byte information, refer to Symptom Byte List. Circuit/System Description The K124 Image Processing Module continuously performs a signal compare between the B174W  Front View Camera – Windshield, B233B Forward Range Radar Sensor – Long Range, B233LR  Short Range Radar Sensor – Left Rear, and B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition ON. Conditions for Setting the DTC The B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear signal does not match plausible values as determined by the K124 Image Processing Module. Action Taken When the DTC Sets Any systems that rely on data from the B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear are disabled. A service message may be displayed on the driver information center. Conditions for Clearing the DTC A current DTC clears when the malfunction is no longer present. A history DTC clears when the control module ignition cycle counter reaches the reset threshold of 50, without a repeat of the malfunction.   1. Verify the area in front of the B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear is clean, unobstructed, and damage-free. ⇒ If not clean, unobstructed, and damage-free Clear or repair as necessary. ⇓ If clean, unobstructed, and damage-free
  2. Verify the B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear is properly mounted and secured with no damage. ⇒ If not properly mounted and secured or damage is present Repair or replace components as necessary. ⇓ If properly mounted and secured and no damage is present
  3. Ignition ON.
  4. Clear DTCs.
  5. Driver the vehicle for 3–5 minutes at speeds greater than 9 km/h (6 mph) in normal traffic conditions.
  6. Verify the DTC B1B3C does not set. ⇒ If DTC B1B3C is set Replace the B233RR Short Range Radar Sensor – Right Rear. ⇓ If DTC B1B3C is not set
