Note

Only the left front wheel is equipped with the front disc brake pad wear sensor. Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

3. Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

Note

If sensor is worn from contact with the front brake rotor, then the front disc brake pads must be replaced as well. Front Disc Brake Pads Replacement

4. Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

Note

Front disc brake pad wear sensor heads are brittle and should be handled with care when installing.

1. Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) » Install

2. Connect the electrical connector. (1)

3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

5. Using a scan tool, relearn the front disc brake pad wear sensor. Brake Pad Life Monitoring Reset
