Front Output Shaft Front and Rear Bearing Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, remove the transfer case front output shaft rear bearing (1) and transfer case front output shaft front bearing (2) from the front output shaft. Installation Procedure

  2. Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the transfer case front output shaft rear bearing (1) until the bearing bottoms against the spacer.

  3. Using a suitable adapter and an arbor press, install the transfer case front output shaft front bearing (2) until the bearing bottoms on the front output shaft.
