DTC C15A3

DTC Descriptor DTC C15A3 Parking Assist System Performance For symptom byte information, refer to Symptom Byte List. Circuit/System Description The K182 Parking Assist Control Module communicates with the K160 Brake System Control Module via serial data. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition ON Conditions for Setting the DTC The K160 Brake System Control Module has identified a plausibility error in the data received from the K182 Parking Assist Control Module The K160 Brake System Control Module has not received expected data from the K182  Parking Assist Control Module in the appropriate designated time Actions Taken When the DTC Sets DTC C15A3 is a Type B DTC Conditions for Clearing the DTC DTC C15A3 is a Type B DTC Reference Information Schematic Reference Parking Assistance Systems Schematics Connector End View Reference Master Electrical Component List Description and Operation Parking Assist Description and Operation Electrical Information Reference Circuit Testing Connector Repairs Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections Wiring Repairs DTC Type Reference Powertrain Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Type Definitions Scan Tool Reference Control Module References Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify no other DTCs are set, except for DTC C15A3. ⇒ If any other DTCs are set Diagnose any other DTCs first. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. ⇓ If no other DTCs are set
  3. Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module.
  4. Clear DTCs.
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC.
  6. Verify DTC C15A3 does not set. ⇒ If DTC C15A3 sets Replace the K160 Brake System Control Module. ⇓ If DTC C15A3 does not set
  7. All OK. Repair Instructions Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the repair. Control Module References for control module replacement, programming, and setup
