Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Replacement
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [8x]
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Remove [2x]

- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]

- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [14x]

- Rear Wheelhouse Liner (1) » Remove [2x]

- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Remove
- Plug the rear brake front pipe nut to avoid fluid loss and contamination.

- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe (1) @ Retainer Clip » Remove

- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Remove

- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Remove

- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Remove
- Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (2) » Remove [2x]
- Plug the rear brake rear pipe inlet to avoid fluid loss and contamination.

Remove the plug from the rear brake rear pipe inlet.

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (2) » Install [2x]

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Install

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Install

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe (1) @ Retainer Clip » Install

Remove the plug from the rear brake front pipe outlet.

Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner (1) » Install [2x]
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [14x] — Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Install [2x]
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [8x] — Fastener Specifications
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
- Install the rear tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
