Caution

General Motors does not support the application of any additional adhesive to reinstall seat components. Use only the pre-applied adhesive to install the seat components. Use of additional adhesives may damage seat components, cause safety concerns, or performance issues. Removal Procedure

1. Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad (1) Remove — Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Removal and Installation

2. Remove the rear seat cushion cover (1) from the rear seat cushion pad (2).
3. If replacing the rear seat cushion pad (2), DISCARD the rear seat cushion heater, if equipped. Installation Procedure

Caution

Ensure the seat heater is not folded or creased during installation as damage to the internal circuitry may occur, causing performance issues and damage to seat components.

1. If replacing the rear seat cushion pad (2), install NEW rear seat cushion heater, if equipped.

2. Install the rear seat cushion cover (1) onto the rear seat cushion pad (2).
