Trailer Brake Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Lower and reposition the spare tire.

  1. Electrical Connector (1) @ Trailer Brake Control Module » Disconnect

  1. Trailer Brake Power Control Module Bolt (2) » Remove [2x]

  2. Trailer Brake Control Module (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  3. Trailer Brake Control Module (1) » Install

  1. Trailer Brake Power Control Module Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Electrical Connector (1) @ Trailer Brake Control Module » Connect

  3. Install the spare tire.

  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
