1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

2. Underbody Skid Shield Bolt (2) » Remove [4x]
3. Underbody Skid Shield (1) » Remove
4. Support the differential carrier with a suitable jack.

5. Front Differential Carrier Nut (1) » Remove
6. Front Differential Carrier Bolt (2) » Remove and DISCARD

7. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Nut (1) » Remove [4x]
8. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Bolt (2) » Remove [4x]

9. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

10. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember (1) » Install

2. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Bolt (2) » Install [4x]
3. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Nut (1) » Install [4x]
4. Using the EN-45059–A Angle Meter, tighten the 4 drivetrain and front suspension frame reinforcement nuts (1). Fastener Specifications

Caution

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

5. Front Differential Carrier Bolt (2) » Install NEW

6. Front Differential Carrier Nut (1) » Install

7. Using the EN-45059–A Angle Meter, tighten the front differential carrier nut (1). Fastener Specifications

8. Remove the jack supporting the differential carrier.

9. Underbody Skid Shield (1) » Install

10. Underbody Skid Shield Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

11. Lower the vehicle.
