Removal Procedure

  1. Apply masking tape over the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

  1. Apply pressure inward at the top of the outside rearview mirror glass (1) until full travel is reached.

  1. Firmly grasp the outer bottom edge of the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

  1. Retaining pressure on the outside rearview mirror glass (1), pull outward until the outside rearview mirror glass is released from the outside rearview mirror actuator (2).
  2. Disconnect all electrical connectors.

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) » Remove [4x]

  1. Release the retaining tabs on the outside rearview mirror housing bezel (1).

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel (1) » Remove

  1. Reposition the outside rearview mirror housing cover.
  2. Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  3. Outside Rearview Mirror Retainer (2) » Remove

  1. Side View Driver Information Camera (3) » Remove

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector. Installation Procedure

  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Side View Driver Information Camera (3) » Install

  5. Outside Rearview Mirror Retainer (2) » Install

  1. Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Secure the outside rearview mirror housing cover.

  3. Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel (1) » Install

  4. Ensure the retaining tabs on the outside rearview mirror housing bezel (1) have fully secured.

  5. Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

  6. Connect all electrical connectors.

  7. Carefully align the outside rearview mirror glass (1) retainers with the outside rearview mirror actuator (2).

  8. Place one hand on the back of the mirror housing and carefully apply pressure to outside rearview mirror glass (1) until outside rearview mirror glass is fully secured.

  9. Remove the masking tape from the outside rearview mirror glass (1).

  10. Inspect the outside rearview mirror for proper operation.

  11. Perform the camera calibration procedure. Video Processing Control Module Calibration
