Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
  2. Remove the driver and the passenger seats. Front Seat Removal and Installation

  1. Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Adapter - Left Side (1) » Remove

  1. Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Adapter - Right Side (1) » Remove
  2. Remove the rear seat. Rear Seat Removal and Installation

  1. Rear Seat Floor Filler Trim Panel (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Remove the 3rd row seat. 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation
  3. Remove the front floor console. Front Floor Console Removal and Installation

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage the front side door sill garnish molding retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.
  2. Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Remove [2x]

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic tool between the center pillar center trim panel (1) and the center pillar upper trim panel to disengage the upper retaining clips (2) on both sides of the vehicle.
  2. Pull from both sides of the center pillar center trim panel (1) to release the middle and lower retaining clips (2) on both sides of the vehicle.
  3. Center Pillar Center Trim Panel (1) » Remove [2x]

  1. Remove the center pillar lower guide molding lower hole cover.
  2. Use a flat bladed plastic tool between the center pillar lower trim panel (1) and the center pillar (2) to disengage retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.
  3. Pull upward from the front and rear of the panel to disengage the retaining clips from the rear side door sill trim plate bracket (3) and the front side door sill trim plate bracket (4) on both sides of the vehicle.
  4. Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel (1) » Reposition [2x]

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to work the carpet out from underneath both quarter lower rear trim panels.

  2. Floor Carpet Retainer (1) » Remove [2x]

  3. Rear Floor Panel Carpet (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

  4. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to work the carpet under both quarter lower rear trim panels.

  5. Rear Floor Panel Carpet (2) » Install

  6. Floor Carpet Retainer (1) » Install [2x]

  7. Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel (1) » Install [2x]

  8. Install the center pillar lower guide molding lower hole cover.

  9. Center Pillar Center Trim Panel (1) » Install [2x]

  10. Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Install [2x]

  11. Install the front floor console. Front Floor Console Removal and Installation

  12. Install the 3rd row seat. 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation

  13. Rear Seat Floor Filler Trim Panel (1) » Install [2x]

  14. Install the rear seat. Rear Seat Removal and Installation

  15. Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Adapter - Right Side (1) » Install

  16. Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Adapter - Left Side (1) » Install

  17. Install the driver and the passenger seats. Front Seat Removal and Installation

  18. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
