Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement (40 Percent, Bucket) Removal Procedure

- Reposition the seat as necessary.
- Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the two rear seat anchor plate bezel plastic retainers.
- Rear Seat Anchor Plate Bezel (1) » Remove

- Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat back cushion frame.
- Unzip the left and right rear seat back cover zippers.
- Reposition the rear seat back cover, pad, and retainers as necessary.
- Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, open the rear seat head restraint cable cover (1).
- Release the rear seat head restraint cable (2).

- Raise the rear seat head restraint to gain access to the rear seat head restraint guide bezels.
- Twist the rear seat head restraint guide bezels (1) counter clockwise while lifting the bezels upward onto the head restraint adjuster rod.
- Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push the rear seat head restraint guide clip (2) rearward while pulling upward on the rear seat head restraint (3).
- Rear Seat Head Restraint (3) » Remove

- Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, push the plastic tab of the rear seat head restraint guide (1) inward and pull upward to remove from the seat back frame. Installation Procedure

Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Bezel (1) » Install [2x]

Rear Seat Head Restraint (3) » Install

Install the rear seat head restraint cable (2).

Close the rear seat head restraint cable cover (1).

Position the rear seat back cover, pad, and retainers to the original location.

Zip the left and right rear seat back cover zippers.

Connect the J-channel retainers.

Return the seat to its original position.
