- Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0097, P0098, P00EA, P00EB, P0112, P0113, P0117, P0118, P1682, P16A7, P16BC, P2199, P2610 is not set. ⇒ If any of the DTCs are set Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle ⇓ If none of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool Freeze Frame/Failure Records parameters listed below are within 25°C (45°F) of the following parameter: Start-Up Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor 3 ⇒ If not within 25°C (45°F) of each other { Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor } & { Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 } Replace the component: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor { Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor 3 } Refer to: DTC P00EA-P00EC ⇓ If within 25°C (45°F) of each other
- Engine » Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter: = −39 to 149°C (−38 to 300°F) and changes Intake Air Temperature Sensor Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 3 ⇒ If not in the specified range or does not change { Intake Air Temperature Sensor } Refer to: DTC P0097-P0099, P00F4-P00F6, or P0112- P0114 { Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 } Refer to: DTC P0097-P0099, P00F4-P00F6, or P0112-P0114 { Intake Air Temperature Sensor 3 } Refer to: DTC P00EA-P00EC ⇓ If in the specified range and changes
- Verify the appropriate scan tool parameter: Intake Air Temperature Sensor = The value should not spike or drop out. Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 = The value should not spike or drop out. Intake Air Temperature Sensor 3 = The value should not spike or drop out. Perform the action while monitoring the parameter: Wiggle the harness and connector: B65 Intake Manifold Pressure and Air Temperature Sensor Wiggle the harness and connector: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module ⇒ If the value spikes or drops out Repair as necessary » Wiring / Terminal(s) / Electrical Connector(s) ⇓ If the value does not spike or drop out
- All OK.
