Circuit/System Description The S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch – Right is a series of switches that control various radio and OnStar functions. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition ON Conditions for Setting the DTC An internal failure has occurred in the S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Right. Action Taken When the DTC Sets The S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch – Right control functions will no longer operate. Conditions for Clearing the DTC The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present.   1. Verify that no DTCs are set, except DTC B1A37. ⇒ If any other DTC is set, except DTC B1A37 Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. ⇓ If only DTC B1A37 is set
  2. Replace the S70R Steering Wheel Controls Switch – Right.
  3. Verify DTC B1A37 does not set when operating the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. ⇒ If the DTC sets Replace the P16 Instrument Cluster. ⇓ If the DTC does not set
