Circuit/System Description The Rear Seat Infotainment system utilizes two 12.6 inch fixed 16x9 aspect ratio, touch panel LCD displays with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. P22F Rear Display – Passenger Seat Back (Display 1) located in the back of the passenger seat is a smart display. P22E Rear Display – Driver Seat Back (Display 2) located in the back of the driver’s seat is a slave display. Display 1 is connected to Display 2 via a LVDS cable. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition ON for more than 5 s The system voltage is 9-16 V The Rear Seat Infotainment system is ON Conditions for Setting the DTC B15B3 13 The P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back detects a fault on the LVDS display 2 circuits. Action Taken When the DTC Sets The P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back sets this DTC Conditions for Clearing the DTC The P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back detects a properly synced digital video signal. A history DTC will clear once 100 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles have occurred.   1. Verify no DTCs are present. ⇒ If any other DTCs are present Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. ⇓ If no DTCs are present
  2. Ignition ON, Rear Seat Infotainment system ON, verify both Rear Seat Infotainment Displays shows an image. ⇒ If both Rear Seat Infotainment Displays or the Passenger Seat Back Display do not show an image. Refer to Video Entertainment System Malfunction. ⇒ If only the Driver seat back display does not show an image. Refer to Circuit/System Testing. ⇓ If both Rear Seat Infotainment Displays show an image.
  3. All OK Circuit/System Testing
  4. Verify the LVDS interface cable is properly connected at the P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back and the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
  5. Ignition ON, infotainment system ON.
  6. Verify the the DTC does not set or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back displays an image. ⇒ If the DTC sets or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back does not display an image. Replace LVDS interface cable between the P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back and the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back. 3.1. Ignition ON, infotainment system ON. 3.2. Verify the DTC does not set or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back displays an image. ⇒ If the DTC sets or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back does not display an image. Replace the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back. 3.3. Ignition ON, infotainment system ON. 3.4. Verify the DTC does not set or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back displays an image. ⇒ If the DTC sets or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back does not display an image. Replace the P22F Video Display – Passenger Seat Back. ⇓ If the DTC does not set or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back displays an image All OK. ⇓ If the DTC does not set or the P22E Video Display – Driver Seat Back displays an image.
  7. All OK. Repair Instructions Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the repair. For control module replacement, programming, and setup refer to: Control Module References
