1. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove
2. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
3. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) » Remove

5. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

7. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

9. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
10. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
11. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Remove

12. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) » Remove
13. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
14. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (2) » Remove

15. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) » Release
16. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) » Remove [2x]

Note

You may have to push down on the lower steering column closeout to clear the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

17. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) » Remove

18. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
19. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Remove

20. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
21. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Remove

22. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
23. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) » Remove

24. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]
25. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
26. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Note

Use care not to bend or deform the thin area of the instrument panel trim pad.

28. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Loosen [2x]

29. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (2) » Remove [2x]

30. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (3) » Remove

31. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

32. Transfer components as necessary. Installation Procedure

33. Connect the electrical connectors.

34. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (3) » Install

3. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

5. Connect the electrical connector.

6. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

7. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

8. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

9. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

10. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

11. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) » Install

12. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

13. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) » Install

14. Connect the electrical connectors.

15. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (2) » Install

16. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

17. Connect the electrical connectors.

18. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

19. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

20. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

21. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

22. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) » Install

23. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) » Install

24. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
