Actions Taken When the DTC Sets Odometer = “—” Conditions for Clearing the DTC The conditions for setting the DTC no longer exist. Driving the vehicle will usually correct the odometer mismatch. Drive the vehicle 1–2 miles before attempting a repair or diagnosis. Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  2. Verify DTC U1973, U197E, U197F, U2A90, U2A91 is not set. ⇒ If the DTC is set 2.1. Perform all necessary programming and setup procedures for the control module: Control module that has set the DTC 2.2. Verify the DTC does not set. ⇒ If the DTC sets » Replace the component: Control module that has set the DTC ⇓ If the DTC is not set 2.3. All OK. ⇓ If the DTC is not set
