Removal Procedure

1. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
2. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Remove

3. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
4. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Remove

5. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
6. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) » Remove

7. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]
8. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
9. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Note

Use care not to bend or deform the thin area of the instrument panel trim pad.

11. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) » Remove

12. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
13. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Remove

14. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
15. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Remove

16. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
17. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
18. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Remove
19. Extend the steering column to its furthest point to allow the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover to clear the instrument panel.

20. Using a small plastic trim tool, separate the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) from the instrument panel steering column lower trim cover.

21. Using a small plastic trim tool, separate the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) from the instrument panel steering column opening closeout (2).

22. Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]
23. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
24. Instrument Panel Transmission Shift Opening Cover (2) » Remove

Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.

28. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

29. Instrument Cluster (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

30. Connect the electrical connectors.

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

3. Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate (1) » Install

5. Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Connect the electrical connectors.

7. Instrument Panel Transmission Shift Opening Cover (2) » Install

8. Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

9. Clip the instrument panel steering column opening closeout (2) to the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1).

10. Secure the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) to the instrument panel steering column lower trim cover.

11. Connect the electrical connectors.

12. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

13. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

14. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

15. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

16. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) » Install

17. Connect the electrical connector.

18. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

19. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

20. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

21. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

22. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

23. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References
