Diagnostic Procedure Instructions provides an overview of each diagnostic category. DTC Descriptors DTC C1175 Pressure Sensor Circuit For symptom byte information, refer to Symptom Byte List. Circuit/System Description The pressure sensor is internal to the Air Suspension Controller. It provides a signal to the K5 Automatic Level Control Module which interprets the voltage to determine the pressure in the system. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition is ON. Battery voltage is between 9–16 V. Conditions for Setting the DTC The pressure sensor outputs less than 0.25 V or greater than 4.9 V to the K5 Automatic Level Control Module. Action Taken When the DTC Sets System offline. Speed limited possible. The K5 Automatic Level Control Module sends a message to the instrument panel cluster to display SERVICE LEVELING SYSTEM message. Conditions for Clearing the DTC A present DTC will clear on the next consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycle. A history DTC will clear after 41 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles. - Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF.
- Inspect the K5 Automatic Level Control Module and Air Suspension Controller for damage. ⇒ If damage is found Replace the damaged component ⇓ If damage is not found
- Verify the K5 Automatic Level Control Module software is up to date. ⇒ If the software is not up to date 3.1. Perform the programming and setup for the K5 Automatic Level Control Module. 3.2. Verify DTC C1175 does not reset. ⇒ If DTC sets Replace the K5 Automatic Level Control Module and the Air Suspension Controller. ⇓ If the DTC does not set 3.3. All OK. ⇓ If the software is up to date
