Assist Step Replacement (BVE - Assist Step Assembly)

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

  1. Assist Step Bolt (1) @ Rocker Panel » Loosen [3x]

  1. Assist Step Bolt (1) @ Rocker Panel » Remove [6x]

  1. Slide the assist step (1), out from under the loosened bolts, and remove. Installation Procedure

  2. Install the assist step (1) under the loosened bolts.

  1. Assist Step Bolt (1) @ Rocker Panel » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Assist Step Bolt (1) @ Rocker Panel » Tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

  3. Lower the vehicle.
