Front Seat Back Cover and Pad Removal and Installation

Front Seat Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
Squeeze the front seat cushion outer finish cover retainer to release it from the seat frame.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Lift the front seat cushion outer finish cover (2) to release it from the front seat cushion cover wire retainer.
Front Seat Cushion Outer Finish Cover (2) » Remove

Raise the front seat head restraint (3) to gain access to the front seat head restraint guide bezels (1).
Twist the front seat head restraint guide bezels (1) counter clockwise while lifting the bezels upward onto the head restraint adjuster rod.
Using a suitable pointed or flat bladed tool, push the front seat head restraint guide clip (2) rearward while pulling upward on the front seat head restraint (3).
Front Seat Head Restraint (3) » Remove

Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs on the lower portion of the front seat back upper cover (1) then pull outwards and down to release the remaining retaining tabs.
Front Seat Back Upper Cover (1) » Remove

Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs on the lower portion of the front seat back opening bezel (1) then lift upwards to release the cover.
Front Seat Back Opening Bezel (1) » Remove

Unclip the wiring harness clips. (1)
Push down on the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) to unlock.
Push the electrical connector (3) upwards into the video display to ensure the connector is free to release.

Fully depress the latch on the electrical connector (3) then pull downward on the wiring harness (4) and remove the electrical connector.

Using a suitable tool, slowly unzip the left and right front seat back cover zippers.

Reposition the rear of the front seat back cover as necessary.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Front Seat Vent Fan Control Module Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
Release the retaining tabs securing the front seat back ventilation blower (2) to the front seat back cushion vent fan mat.
Front Seat Back Ventilation Blower (2) » Remove

Release the front seat inboard and outboard seat back airbag chute retainers.
Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat back cushion frame.
Disconnect the electrical connectors and reposition the wiring harness as necessary.
Remove the front seat back cover and pad (1) as an assembly. Installation Procedure
Install the front seat cushion cover and pad (1) as an assembly.
Connect the electrical connectors and position the wiring harness.
Connect the J-channel retainers.
Install the front seat inboard and outboard seat back airbag chute retainers.
Front Seat Back Ventilation Blower (2) » Install
Seat the retaining tabs securing the front seat back ventilation blower (2) to the front seat back cushion vent fan mat.

Front Seat Vent Fan Control Module Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector.
Position the rear of the front seat back cover to the original location.

Connect the electrical connectors. (3) » Install
Push the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) upwards to lock electrical connector (3) .
Secure the clip (1) to secure the wiring harness (4).
