Liftgate Adjustment

  1. Liftgate Hinge Bolt » Loosen [4x]

  1. Adjust the rear compartment lid in order to obtain an even gap between the lid and the quarter outer panel, the tail lamp and rear bumper fascia and so that the lid is flush with the quarter outer panel, the rear body structure stop lamp and rear bumper fascia. Spoiler to roof panel (a) 10 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.39 in ± 0.04 in) Liftgate to rear body structure stop lamp  (b) 4.5 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.17 in ± 0.04 in) Liftgate to rear bumper fascia step pad  (c) 6.5 mm ± .1.5 mm (0.25 in ± 0.04 in)
  1. Liftgate Hinge Bolt » Tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications
  2. Adjust the liftgate bumpers as necessary.
