Removal Procedure

1. Rear Bumper Fascia (1) » Remove — Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Release the retaining tabs.
4. Tow Vehicle Electrical Receptacle (1) » Remove
5. Disconnect the wire harness retainers.

6. Spare Wheel Hoist Lock Cylinder (1) » Remove

7. Release the tabs (1) on the spare wheel lock cylinder case to remove it from the rear bumper impact bar.
8. Spare Wheel Lock Cylinder Case (2) » Remove

9. Remove the 2 outer left and right side rear bumper impact bar bolt  (1).
10. Remove the 3 lower left and right side rear bumper impact bar bolt  (2).

11. Rear Bumper Impact Bar (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

12. Rear Bumper Impact Bar (1) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Install and tighten the 2 outer left and right side rear bumper impact bar bolts (1). Fastener Specifications

3. Install and tighten the 3 lower left and right side rear bumper impact bar bolts (2). Fastener Specifications

4. Push the spare wheel lock cylinder case (2) firmly into the rear bumper impact bar so that the spare wheel lock cylinder tabs (1) snap in place.

5. Spare Wheel Hoist Lock Cylinder (1) » Install

6. Tow Vehicle Electrical Receptacle (1) » Install

7. Secure the retaining tabs.

8. Connect the electrical connectors.

9. Connect the wire harness retainers.

10. Rear Bumper Fascia (1) » Install — Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation
