1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

2. Clean the surrounding area of the automatic transmission case hole plug (1).

4. Check the transmission fluid level and condition and correct as necessary. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check

5. Prepare the automatic transmission case hole plug (1) for installation as follows: 2.1. Remove all traces of the adhesive patch from the plug and the mating threads using the appropriate tools. 2.2. Clean the threads of the plug and mating threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry. 2.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the plug. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 2.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the plug.

4. Lower the vehicle.
