  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  1. { If equipped } Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) » Remove

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]
  2. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Remove

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]
  2. Reposition the front wheelhouse liner rearward.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors. (1)
  2. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (2) » Disengage [2x]
  3. Engine Wiring Harness Channel Retainer (3) » Remove [2x]
  4. Engine Wiring Harness (4) » Reposition

  1. Engine Control Module Bolt (1) » Remove [4x]
  2. Engine Control Module (2) » Remove

  1. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]
  2. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) » Reposition

  1. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) » Disengage [2x]
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)

  1. Use a suitable tool to release the locking tab and remove the transmission control module (1) by sliding it out from the engine control module bracket (2). Installation Procedure

  2. Transmission Control Module (1) @ Engine Control Module Bracket (2) » Install

  3. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) » Move into position

  4. Connect the electrical connector. (2)

  5. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) » Engage [2x]

  6. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) » Install

  1. Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Engine Control Module (2) » Install

  3. Engine Control Module Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

  4. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Engine Control Module Bolt » Engage

  5. Engine Wiring Harness (4) » Install

  6. Engine Wiring Harness Channel Retainer (3) » Install [2x]

  7. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (2) » Engage [2x]

  8. Connect the electrical connectors. (1)

  9. Reposition the front wheelhouse liner forward.

  10. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

  11. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Install

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications
  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. { If equipped } Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  3. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  4. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  5. Program the transmission control module. Control Module References
