Radio Front Speaker Replacement - Left Side

Warning

Refer to SIR Warning.

Caution

If a vehicle is equipped with a head curtain inflator module ensure that the inflator module and tether are undamaged. If tether or curtain airbag are damaged in any way, they must be replaced.

Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced. Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

2. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
3. Pull down the windshield garnish molding (1) rearwards to release the tether from the A pillar.
4. Access the windshield garnish bolt (2) which is located on the backside of the windshield garnish molding (1).

7. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
8. Radio Front Speaker Grille (1) » Remove

9. Radio Front Speaker Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]

10. Radio Front Speaker (2) » Remove

11. Disconnect the electrical connector. Installation Procedure

12. Connect the electrical connector.

13. Radio Front Speaker (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

3. Radio Front Speaker Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Radio Front Speaker Grille (1) » Install

5. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

6. Align the retaining clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish molding (1) into place.

7. Windshield Garnish Molding (1) » Install

8. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.

9. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
