DTC Descriptor DTC B2B16 00 Touchscreen HVAC Input Not Plausible Circuit/System Description The infotainment display touchscreen is part of the A22 Radio Control assembly and communicates with the K9 Body Control Module via serial data. When the BCM receives an abnormal HVAC input message from the touchscreen, the BCM sets the DTC. Conditions for Running the DTC B2B16 The K9 Body Control Module is awake and communicating The A22 Radio Control is awake and communicating System voltage = 9 – 15 V Conditions for Setting the DTC B2A7E The BCM receives an invalid HVAC control message from the touchscreen Action Taken when the DTC Sets The BCM does not respond to the message.   1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC B2B16 is not set. ⇒ If DTC B2B16 is set Replace the A22 Radio Control. ⇓ If DTC B2B16 is not set
