  1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  1. Unclip and reposition the chassis wiring harness bracket (1) away from the frame shock tower.

  1. Front Shock Absorber Nut (1) » Remove [3x]
  1. Support the front lower control arm with a suitable jack stand.

  1. Front Brake Hose Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove

  1. { If equipped } Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) @ Front Brake Caliper » Remove

  1. { If equipped } Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor Retainer (2) » Remove
  2. { If equipped } Position the front disc brake pad wear sensor wiring harness (1) out of the way.

  1. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (4) » Remove
  2. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove
  3. Front Wheel Speed Sensor (3) » Remove
  4. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bracket (2) » Remove

  1. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness (1) @ Wiring Harness Bracket » Remove

  1. Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) » Loosen

  1. Using the CH-42188–B Ball Joint Separator(1) , separate the left front upper control arm (2) from the steering knuckle.
  2. Remove the CH-42188–B Ball Joint Separator(1) from the left front upper control arm (2) and the steering knuckle.

  1. Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) » Remove

  1. Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Nut (1) » Remove

  1. Front Shock Absorber Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Remove the jack stand from under the front suspension lower control arm.

  1. Front Shock Absorber (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  1. Apply anti-corrosion wax to the frame shock tower. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair

  2. Front Shock Absorber (1) » Install

  1. Front Shock Absorber Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Front Stabilizer Shaft Link Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  3. Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  4. Front Shock Absorber Nut (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

  5. Reposition and install the chassis wiring harness bracket (1) to the frame shock tower.

  6. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness (1) @ Wiring Harness Bracket » Install

  7. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bracket (2) » Install

  8. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  9. Front Wheel Speed Sensor (3) » Install

  10. Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (4) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  11. { If equipped } Position the front disc brake pad wear sensor wiring harness (1) into place.

  12. { If equipped } Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor Retainer (2) » Install

  13. { If equipped } Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) @ Front Brake Caliper » Install

  14. Front Brake Hose Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  15. Remove the jack stand from under the front lower control arm.

  16. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
