Circuit/System Description When the K9 Body Control Module detects the left rear or right rear door is in the locked state, the K9 Body Control Module will provide the respective control circuit 6675 or control circuit 6676 with approximately 5V which will illuminate the lock indicator. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode Conditions for Setting the DTC B195D 11 Circuit 6675 is shorted to ground B195D 12 Circuit 6675 is shorted to voltage B195D 13 Circuit 6675 has an open/high resistance B195E 11 Circuit 6677 is shorted to ground B195E 12 Circuit 6677 is shorted to voltage B195E 13 Circuit 6677 has an open/high resistance Actions Taken When the DTC Sets B195D 11, B195E 11 or B195D 12, B195E 12 Door Lock Switch Indicator = Always Off B195D 13, B195E 13 Door Lock Switch Indicator = Always On Conditions for Clearing the DTC A current DTC will clear when the diagnostic runs and passes. A history DTC will clear after 40 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles.   1. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  2. Operate the component: S13LR Door Lock Switch - Left Rear » Lock Switch & Unlock Switch Verify the component works as specified: Door Lock Switch Indicator = On and Off ⇒ If not the specified state Refer to: Circuit/System Testing — Test 1 ⇓ If the specified state
  3. Operate the component: S13RR Door Lock Switch - Right Rear » Lock Switch & Unlock Switch Verify the component works as specified: Door Lock Switch Indicator = On and Off ⇒ If not the specified state Refer to: Circuit/System Testing — Test 2 ⇓ If the specified state
  4. A fault that is not currently present may have been caused by a intermittent condition. Circuit/System Testing Test 1

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector: S13LR Door Lock Switch - Left Rear
  7. Connect a test lamp between the test points: Control circuit terminal 5 & Ground circuit terminal 4
  8. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  9. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver » Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
  10. Verify the test lamp turns On and Off. ⇒ If the test lamp is always Off 6.1. Ignition OFF, remove the test lamp, disconnect the harness connector at the K9 Body Control Module. 6.2. Test for infinite resistance between the control 6675 and ground. ⇒ If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit. ⇓ If infinite resistance 6.3. Test for less than 2 Ω in the control 6675 end to end. ⇒ If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit. ⇒ If less than 2 Ω, replace the K9 Body Control Module ⇒ If the test lamp is always On 6.1. Ignition OFF, remove the test lamp, disconnect the harness connector at the K9 Body Control Module, ignition ON. 6.2. Test for less than 1 V between the control 6675 and ground. ⇒ If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage on the circuit. ⇒ If less than 1 V, replace the K9 Body Control Module ⇓ If the test lamp turns On and Off
  11. Test or replace the component: S13LR Door Lock Switch - Left Rear Test 2
  12. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems » Off
  13. Disconnect the electrical connector: S13RR Door Lock Switch - Right Rear
  14. Connect a test lamp between the test points: Control circuit terminal 5 & Ground circuit terminal 4
  15. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  16. Operate the component: S13D Door Lock Switch - Driver » Lock Switch & Unlock Switch
  17. Verify the test lamp turns On and Off. ⇒ If the test lamp is always Off 6.1. Ignition OFF, remove the test lamp, disconnect the harness connector at the K9 Body Control Module 6.2. Test for infinite resistance between the control 6677 and ground. ⇒ If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit. ⇓ If infinite resistance 6.3. Test for less than 2 Ω in the control 6677 end to end. ⇒ If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit. ⇒ If less than 2 Ω, replace the S79P Front Side Door Window Switch-Passenger ⇒ If the test lamp is always On 6.1. Ignition OFF, remove the test lamp, disconnect the harness connector at the K9 Body Control Module, ignition ON. 6.2. Test for less than 1 V between the control 6677 and ground. ⇒ If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage on the circuit. ⇒ If less than 1 V, replace the K9 Body Control Module. ⇓ If the test lamp turns On and Off
