This diagnostic verifies the vehicle is I/M ready by confirming the I/M System Status monitors are Complete and that no Permanent DTCs are set. Conditions for Updating the I/M System Status

- Verify there are no Permanent DTCs set » Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle ⇒ If a Permanent DTC is set 2.1. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. — For each Permanent DTC set. 2.2. Verify the DTC does not set. ⇒ If the DTC sets » Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle ⇓ If the DTC is not set & The Permanent DTC cleared 2.3.
